2024 marks 2 years of Nia being a Southern Belle Party Princess. This has been her most rewarding job, as it means the world to her to make little girls feel magical. Nia has received performer of the quarter!
In May 2023, Nia performed at the Alliance Theatre in the semi-finals of the Next Narrative Monologue Competition.

Nia was 1 of 14 students selected nationally for the TV/ Film acting program in the NoCo PreCollege Program. Led by the directors of LINK, she spent 2-weeks in Norwalk, Connecticut performing acting for the camera. She also took professional voice-over, interview skills, hip-hop dance, and yoga lessons.

In May 2022, Nia went on a trip to Los Angeles sponsored by the University of Southern California on a retreat with Black Girls Film Camp. She visited USC's School of Cinematic Arts and then got interviewed by USC's Annenberg School of Journalism with her short film's creative team.

Nia attended SCAD Day in Savannah, Georgia and volunteered to perform solo on the set of G.R.I.T.S., a sitcom written by SCAD dramatic writing alumni Chad Morton.
The exercise was directed by Mark Tymchyshyn (The Gregory Hines Show), (George Lopez) & D. W. Moffett (Switched at Birth).
In July 2022, Nia rocked her braids (& dropped some tears) posing for photographer Mikey Kushner.

BGFC is a nonprofit that provides a virtual 12-week experience where Black girls across the country pitch a story idea, and Nia was in the final ten are selected to have their short film project produced by the program. Over 200 girls across the country applied for the 2022 camp and 10 were selected to direct and develop their own short films.
2022 line up included: Karen Toliver, TV Executive/ Writer Kelly Edward, Brittney Cooper, Casting Directors Tracy "Twinkie" Byrd & Donyell Kennedy-McCullough, award-winning filmmaker Kelly Kali, actresses Karyn Parsons, Quvenzhané Wallis, TV Producers Deniese Davis, Erica Shelton Kodish, Janine Sherman Barrois, Angela Nissel, and actress CoCo Jones!

Nia saw her high school alum, Ramone Nelson, play "Tito Jackson" in MJ The Musical on Broadway on a trip to New York, with her classmates from the Norwalk Conservatory.
